"Stranded wire hooks:"

From: CHRIS BEALS LU 103 COBRACE@AOL

When making up devices with stranded wire the end of the wire frays. To solve this problem, strip 3/4 of an inch of wire and leave a little insulation on the end. Then make a hook and when tightened on the device it will not fray.
