"Pushing wire through conduit with ease::"

From: Joe Scaff

The key to pushing wire through conduit is making sure all of the conductors are perfectly straight. the slightest bend or kink in your wire will drag the sides of the conduit when you are pushing the wire through. pay close attention to your wire as it is being rolled off.
bend the end of each wire double about 1/2" long and use your kliens to pinch it tight. Use no tape on the ends. stager each wire approximately 2" as you feed them in the conduit. Next keep the wire straight and all of the conductors together using both hands and as you feed the wire through the conduit make sure they all stay straight and uniform. You will be surprised at the distance you will be able to push wire.
