"Make A Close Nipple:"

From: Joe Ivy jivy228585@home.com

Thread the conduit with running threads To a length of 8 to 12 inches or more depending on the threader and the size of the conduit. Remove the conduit from the threader and measure back from the end of the threads to the location of the begining return threads on the unthreaded conduit. Clamp the conduit in the vise at the end of the previously threaded end. "clamp on to the threads". Cut and thread back to opposing threads. Cut running threads to appropriate length, file end so that the threads will start. This will get you out of a bind and will work for any sized nipple.
